Now a days Abroad travel and Permanent Residency is becoming a news branch in Astrology, but in the ancient times going outside the country is considered like a punishment (Desh nikala) exile.
So in vedic astrology it is not hard to tell whether there is chances for going abroad or not. There are many factors to see foreign tour, but two houses are the most important i.e. 4th house and 12th house.
Going abroad takes very little effort since you just required a couple of bad planets in transit (for a specific time) and some support from 12th house or planets in there, then you can have a foreign tour for a vacation.
If you want just earning from abroad you require a strong 12th houses with good foreign income giving planets in it. For stay and even for PR(Permanent Residency) you require technically all of them.
